My plan for this space, among a few other things, is to tell stories about the running experiences that we usually don’t talk about—you know, those dark places we usually skip over and sum up like, “yah, running’s hard. idk.”
I think it would be helpful for everyone if we talked more about why running’s hard, not just that it is hard. We’d probably feel less alone when things start to suck and we need that glass of water.
Much like in my Instagram post about my mental health after winning USAs in 2013, I want to share my experiences and help other people share theirs.
